Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy the following eligibility conditions before applying.
Educational Qualification
The candidate must be studying in Class 5 during the academic session 2026–27 in a Government, Government-aided, or Government-recognized school and should seek admission to Class 6 through the JNV Selection Test.
Age Limit
Candidates must be born between 01 May 2015 and 31 July 2017 (both dates inclusive) as per the official notification.
Residence
The applicant must apply for admission to the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya located in the district where they are studying in Class 5 and fulfil the district eligibility conditions prescribed by NVS.
