RRB Group D Admit Card 2026 – Download Now

The RRB Group D Admit Card 2026 will be released from 31 July 2026, around four days before the candidate’s scheduled examination. Meanwhile, the City Intimation Slip has been released in a phase-wise manner for candidates appearing in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) scheduled between 3 August and 21 August 2026.

RRB Group D Admit Card 2026

The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has started releasing the City Intimation Slip for CEN 09/2025, while the RRB Group D Admit Card 2026 (e-Call Letter) will be available from 31 July 2026 onwards. Candidates who registered for the 22,195 Level-1 vacancies can log in using their Registration Number and Date of Birth/Password to check their allotted exam city, exam date, and shift timing.

The first batch of city slips was released on 24 July 2026 for candidates whose examination is scheduled on 3 August 2026. RRB is publishing the slips batch-wise, generally 10 days before the respective examination date.

The e-Call Letter (Admit Card) is issued separately and contains the complete examination centre address, reporting time, and exam-day instructions, which are not available on the city slip. It will be released approximately four days before the examination, beginning 31 July 2026 for candidates appearing on 3 August 2026.

The RRB Group D CBT 2026 will be conducted from 3 August to 21 August 2026 in three shifts every day. Candidates applying through RRB Guwahati can download both the City Intimation Slip and Admit Card from the same candidate login portal.

RRB Group D City Intimation Slip Released

The City Intimation Slip informs candidates about their allotted exam city, examination date, and shift timing, allowing them to make travel and accommodation arrangements in advance. However, it is not a valid entry document for the examination. Only the RRB Group D Admit Card (e-Call Letter) will be accepted for entry into the examination centre.

RRB is releasing the city slips phase-wise, approximately 10 days before each examination date. Therefore, candidates with later exam dates may initially receive a message stating that the city slip is not yet available for their application.

Candidates under RRB Guwahati can access the city slip once their respective batch is activated. Eligible SC/ST candidates can also download the Free Second-Class Railway Travel Authority through the same login.

City Intimation Slip Release Schedule

RRB is following a 10-day advance release schedule for the City Intimation Slip. The remaining dates will become active as the respective batches are released.

RRB Group D Shift Timings 2026

The Computer-Based Test will be conducted in three shifts every day. Candidates are advised to reach the examination centre before the reporting time, as entry will not be permitted after the gate closing time mentioned on the admit card.

RRB Group D CBT Exam Pattern 2026

The CBT consists of 100 objective-type questions carrying 100 marks. A negative marking of one-third (1/3) mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

Aadhaar Verification & Documents Required

RRB will conduct Aadhaar-based biometric verification at the examination centre before allowing candidates to enter the exam hall. Candidates should complete their Aadhaar authentication through the RRB application portal and keep their Aadhaar unlocked in the UIDAI system before the examination date to ensure smooth verification.

Documents to Carry

• Printed copy of the RRB Group D Admit Card (e-Call Letter)
• Original Aadhaar Card or e-Verified Aadhaar printout
• One additional original photo identity proof such as Voter ID, PAN Card, Driving Licence, or Passport
• Recent passport-size photograph as specified on the admit card
• Self-attested photocopy of the Admit Card and Caste Certificate (for SC/ST candidates availing free rail travel)

Important: Candidates without the Admit Card and a valid original photo ID will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

How to Download RRB Group D City Slip & Admit Card?

Candidates can download both the City Intimation Slip and Admit Card through the same login portal. Once the e-Call Letter is released, the Admit Card link will become active automatically.

1. Visit the Important Links section below.
2. Click on the City Intimation Slip or Admit Card link.
3. Select your respective RRB Region (Assam candidates should choose RRB Guwahati).
4. Enter your Registration Number, Date of Birth/Password, and the Captcha Code.
5. View your allotted exam city, exam date, and shift details.
6. Once available, download the Admit Card PDF containing the examination centre address and reporting time.
7. Verify all details carefully and print at least two copies for future use.

Note: If your batch has not been activated yet, the portal will display a message indicating that the City Intimation Slip is currently unavailable. If you notice any error in your City Slip or Admit Card, contact your respective RRB immediately for correction before the examination.
